Ten years ago we became parents of this red-headed terrific boy.

Ace William is one of my most favourite people on earth, not only because he made me a Mom, but because he is so unique!  This creative, crazy, playful, energetic, curious, caring boy has been such a joy to raise.  I often call him my soul-mate because out of anyone else in our home, him and I are on the same wavelength (most of the time).

After 10 years of themed birthday parties, we told Ace this was going to be his last larger kids party.  So he invited his Grade 5 buddies over to celebrate.  What a bunch of manly boys…they played in the backyard, roughed each other up, played Lego & Nerf guns, ate pizza till they were too full, had superhero cake and ended the party with a game of pictionary where they had to draw/guess the past nine of Ace’s birthday party themes (1-Cowboy, 2-Pirate, 3-Thomas the Train, 4-Lego, 5-Star Wars, 6-Bugs, 7-Camping, 8-Skylanders, 9-Minecraft).

Thank you to local cake boss, Donna, who made this SUPER cake…it turned out AMAZING!

The boys went home with Ace’s favourite candy…Laffy Taffy & Dunkeroos.

Such a great party for a wonderful kid!
