Daniel and Whitney’s wedding was set in the spring, just as the trees were blooming.  The way Dan looked at his sweet bride that day is enough to makes anyone’s heart melt, he truly adores her!  The whole day could have been taken out of a fairytale…the breathtaking bride, smiles from everyone and how magical their love truly is.

The bride wore a dress with straps and endless lace.  The groom wore a trendy tan suit and pops of coral filled the wardrobe of the bridal party.

They said ‘I DO’ in front of their loved ones at the Carlyle United Church with Dan’s brother-in-law officiating.  Heads turned as the bride’s son Lennox walked down the aisle holding a sign that read ‘Danny, here comes OUR girl’.

After the ceremony, we headed to the local baseball park for bridal portraits.  We lucked out with a beautiful day for photos.  We ducked into one of the baseball dugouts to incorporate the grooms love for the game and set up some shots with the entire bridal party as well as some intimate moments for just Daniel & Whitney.  Portraits ended with a beautiful white flowering tree as a backdrop.  I cannot express how much of a pleasure it was to capture these two embracing each other, they were so happy.

The reception was located at Prairie Place Hall in Arcola.  Accents of gold and coral pink graced the hall.  Twinkling lights, cute mason jars, fun chalkboards and baby’s breath were the details that decorated the event.  I don’t think they will ever forget their first dance to a song Dan’s sister played and sang.

I will always remember this day as one of true and genuine love….a kind of love people long for and you Daniel & Whitney are special enough to have found it.  Wishing you all the best, blessed to have been the one to capture your first day as husband & wife!
