I had one mission on my first ever trip to Mall of America in Minneapolis…to find and try on a pair of NYDJ jeans I’ve heard so much about lately.

There is a huge buzz around the fit of the cleverly named slimming jeans (Not Your Daughters Jeans) and I wanted to check them out for myself.  I headed to Nordstrom and a store associate helped me find the section, there are so many styles to choose from.  I tried on my first pair and was obsessed, they really felt like yoga pants like Jenna Kutcher boasts.  Amazed by the fit, I picked up four pairs.  What I loved the most was the soft fabric, the rise to camouflage my muffin top and the stretch to the fabric without sagging.  And being able to fit into a size 8, hello, I was sold!

When I returned home, I tossed out ALL of my other jeans.  No more feeling guilty for not fitting them…I swear they laughed at me every time I walked into my closet.  I finally found jeans not only with a great fit, but they look fabulous too.  Thanks NYDJ, I’m hooked!
