These engagement photos of Grant & Nicole excite me for their mid-July wedding near Storthoaks & Redvers, that’s just around the corner.  This sweet couple, who currently reside in Saskatoon, met when Nicole was visiting her sister who lived in the same building as Grant.  Grant hosted a BBQ, hit it off with Nicole, and the two became an item.   Grant currently works in engineering and Nicole is a teacher, the two travel to Southern Saskatchewan often as they both grew up here and have family close by.  After having to reschedule their engagement session two previous times due to wind and snow storms and -50 degree temperatures, the third date we had scheduled, worked like a charm.  This winter engagement session in Carnduff was so fun with these two, there was a lot of hot cocoa sipping and snuggling to keep warm.  I love that they brought their mittens and skates for a few fun shots…oh and their opposing Canadian hockey team jerseys (I wonder if those will make an appearance at the wedding?)  I always love engagement sessions with my wedding couples because it allows us to bond prior to the wedding, for the couple to get to know my photography style AND let’s us discuss the fun details of their upcoming wedding.  I tell all my brides (and grooms) to keep in touch with me throughout the planning stages of the wedding, I want to hear all the details and take note to photograph them during the big day.  Grant & Nicole have been so helpful with keeping in touch, I love that I can share the enthusiasm about their wedding day…they make my heart smile!  Enjoy a peek at their fun small town engagement session and feel free to leave a note for this amazing couple in the comments section.
