Dreamy Manitoba Wedding at Asessippi Ski Resort

Let’s just say…Jordan and Rae-Ann’s day at Asessippi Ski Resort was the perfect mix of heartfelt, classy, and fun. They’re originally from Regina but gathered their people for a destination wedding tucked into the hills of Manitoba…and it did not disappoint.

From the second I arrived, there was this cozy smell of fresh rain in the air (you know the one), and everything felt soft and intentional. Rae-Ann got ready in her own cabin while Jordan prepped at another…both surrounded by the sweetest humans and so much anticipation. Their first look prep was one of my favourite parts. Emotional. Real. Quietly beautiful.

Did it rain? Oh yeah…downpoured during their ceremony. But they embraced it with smiles, soaked suits, and umbrellas…walking back up the aisle as newlyweds like they owned the moment. Total movie scene.

They exchanged vows in the vine chapel, celebrated with 150+ loved ones at the Sugar Shack, and served a fully gluten-free meal (shout out to their chef team!). Signature drinks were flowing, guests snapped Polaroids for the guest book, and the entire space was filled with intentional details and lush florals.

Oh…and surprise of the night (which the Groom let me in on)? Jordan played a custom video message from Jess Moskaluke for Rae-Ann after the speeches. She was shook. It was the best moment.

From pearl heels to heartfelt vows, this day was one I won’t forget anytime soon. Jordan and Rae-Ann — thank you for trusting me to capture every detail and moment of your first day as husband and wife.
