Black & White Summer Wedding Celebration at Moon Lake Golf & Country Club

Austin + Kiana’s summer wedding was the kind of day that lingers in your memory…a celebration filled with romance, intention and the most magnetic energy. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that every element had been thoughtfully curated to reflect who they are: a couple rooted in love, grounded in faith, and glowing with joy.

Kiana got ready at home with their two pups, Otis and Frank, who suited up in tiny tuxedos to match the vibe of the day. She did her own glam…flawless + radiant…before slipping into the most exquisite fully beaded gown from W Bridal. Her friends wore silky dresses in varying hues of blue…her “something blue”…each one chosen with intention and heart. The guys, meanwhile, kicked off their morning with mimosas at best man Raz’s house, easing into the day with laughter and calm.

The ceremony at Moon Lake Golf & Country Club was filled with genuine emotion and sacred meaning. As Kiana walked down the aisle, sunlight poured through the trees in the most ethereal way…warm and golden, like a blessing from above. When these two locked eyes at the altar, the pure joy between them was undeniable. It was one of those moments you feel in your chest. The kind that doesn’t need words.

After their vows, they quietly stepped away to sign their marriage papers and share a private moment together inside the tent…an intentional pause to soak in the beauty of what just unfolded.

The rest of the day unfolded with that same effortless rhythm. Instead of a traditional head table, they chose to sit among close friends. Dinner was served family-style, heartfelt speeches were timed perfectly between courses and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. Guests enjoyed drinks during cocktail hour and the couple made time to mingle with everyone…a gesture that made everyone feel seen and celebrated.

Golden hour delivered its magic as we stepped onto the green for portraits. The prairie skies gave us soft, dreamy light and the moon made a subtle appearance overhead…like it knew. These were the kind of frames photographers dream of.

The night ended with their first dance beneath strings of warm bistro lights on a checkered dance floor…romantic, cinematic and so them. The energy was contagious. The celebration was real. From the handcrafted details to the way Kiana did everything herself, this wedding didn’t just look beautiful, it felt beautiful.

It was elegant. It was authentic. It was romantic.
