Whimsical Blush & Navy Summer Wedding in Saskatchewan

Surrounded by their closest family & friends, Chase & Michelle danced their hearts out after an incredible wedding day.

I was honoured to be asked to capture this hometown boy’s marriage to the most amazing gal.  I had the opportunity to meet this terrific engaged couple during a meet & greet at my place complete with charcuterie & wine on the deck.  You could tell they were in harmony from the start.  Their plans to marry in 2020 were postponed by the pandemic which took them to celebrating in 2021.

And what a celebration it was!  Restrictions had just opened up allowing gatherings of 150 to commence in the province, their event would be our first with a large crowd in over a year.  There were loads of whimsical touches throughout the outdoor space, drinks served from the couple’s backyard and a delicious wagyu meal catered by The Happy Nun.  We loved experiencing the crowd’s laughter during toasts & speeches followed by Mr. & Mrs. Buchanan’s first dance together…while they both sang the words of the song ‘Conversations in the Dark’ by John Legend as they danced.
