Whimsical Bohemian Summer Wedding

Tyson & Kierra tied the knot in Carievale on a warm summer afternoon.  Looking back on their wedding day, I cannot help but smile. They are the sweetest couple and I love how they gaze into each others eyes as if they have a special secret only the two of them know.

Our day began when we arrived at Zaanti Spa where the girls were getting ready.  The Bride-to-be was so chill as she watched in zen of everything that was happening around her.  Once the Bridesmaids were dressed in their mauve-neutral convertible dresses, they helped Kierra put the finishing touches onto her lace detailed gown, including a vintage belt and gold ivy crown.

The venue (local ice rink) was transformed by the Bride into a rustic & whimsical space.  Nothing was overlooked, every detail was planned with meaning.  Kierra put so much thought & detail into EVERY part of her day…from her hybrid fresh & silk floral bouquets to the initials burned into each guest’s favour. There was even a ‘Fairytale Corner’ all set out for the little ones to enjoy.  Every corner was sprinkled with delightful quotes, wildflowers and tea lights and guests were in awe.

Tasteful classical music played as guests filled the venue awaiting the ceremony.  The bride and groom had tears of joy as they sealed their love with a kiss.  The rest of the day was filed with magic heartfelt joy…from the beautiful golden light for their portraits to dancing their first dance under a lovely chandelier.

I leave you with a quote from Kierra’s Mom’s welcome to the family speech: ‘I wish you both health & experiences that take you around the world and the love that makes you want to come back home’.  It was an honour to capture your first day as husband & wife and I want to wish you many years of love & happiness together!
