I'm here to tell your story...the joy, the laughs, the tears, and the memories along the way.
Tanner & Alyssa had the most amazing wedding day. The week leading up, thundershowers flooded the forecast and we were all a bit nervous. But it turned out to be gorgeous weather for these two who have been together since 2012. For Alyssa’s high school graduation, I had the privilege of photographing these two, and I’m thrilled to be photographing them again for their wedding day!
The day was out of a fairytale, from the lilac details to the Bride’s elegant gown, this small town wedding was gorgeous. The adorable flower girls stole the show as they walked down that aisle tossing petals like pros with the best smiles. The couple wrote their own heartfelt vows and slipped away during pictures for some romantic portraits of just the two of them. We had a blast photographing this entire event, from the cigar smoking groomsmen in suspenders to the elegant & fun bridesmaids in grey gowns…this bunch of Tanner & Alyssa’s closest friends made the day extra special and had their best interests in mind at all times.
For a couple who has gone thru alot in their young age they sure deserved a day to be joyful. They have hung onto each other thru events most don’t see till they are much older and that is why I am so excited for them to start their lives as husband and wife, may life bring you all the happiness deserving of such a wonderful couple! xoxo
I was blessed to be a part of so many special moments that occurred during Tanner & Alyssa’s wedding day. The one moment that will stick with me the longest, has to do with her Dad.
Alyssa lost her Dad in January. The Bride’s sister Mandy got up before the Father/Daughter dance and shared this story…here’s my recollection of it: The time leading up to their Dad’s passing was spent together, they especially loved watching home-movies with one another.
One time they gathered, Alyssa wasn’t there. They ended up watching a home-movie of Alyssa (as a young girl) in her Dad’s arms dancing together. He said to sister, Mandy ‘if I don’t make it, please show this one at Alyssa’s wedding’.
So, as per Alyssa’s Father’s wishes, the video was shown for all of us to enjoy. And as you’re probably guessing, there wasn’t a dry eye at the reception.
Alyssa asked her Grandfather to join her for a special dance together. I only knew your Dad from your graduation portraits Alyssa, and I’m sure your hero was happy Grandpa could take his place during the Father/Daughter dance and be a part of that special moment.

Wow, she is stunning and her makeup is amazing!! I adore her bouquet.
Love this beautiful wedding day!
I LOVE how they went with grey color as the main theme and the lilac was the accent color. Totally different than how people coordinate the purple and grey wedding themes!
Sooooo beautiful!! I love the lilac color – so pretty and unique!! Looked like a gorgeous wedding! also, those flower girls – too cute!!
