Rustic Summer Kenosee Lake Wedding

I met Lyndon & Jordan last year when they came to my home to chat all about their wedding, I couldn’t help but fall in love the two of them on the spot!  I was able to get to know them even better at their breathtaking fall engagement session and it was evident these two fit together perfectly.  I felt completely honored this fabulous couple asked me to be a part of their big day, and have been looking forward to it for over a year now.

It was a day we will all remember, from all the plum and lavender details to the couple’s dog Bella as their flower girl.  We had a blast with their fun families and lively bridal party…who were there for the smoke show outside of High House Pub in Arcola.  The subtle theme of LOCKS and LOVE, carried throughout out the day including a lock and key ceremony at the Chalet (the couple threw the key into Kenosee Lake) to this poem read by Lyndon’s Mom at the reception:

The Key To A Happy Marriage

Begin your lives together filled with romance and love.

Have laughter and loyalty with blessings from above.

Appreciate one another when you both have much to share.

Be there for each other, encourage, support and cheer.

So that your dreams might be fulfilled with each passing year.

Feel quiet moments together in happiness and bliss.

Share your days successes and disappointments too.

Spend time alone together, give gifts that will surprise.

The key to a happy marriage is for a couple to impart the hopes dreams and all their love, together as one heart.
