Lavender Spring Wedding in Regina and Lumsden

It all started with a party, the night they met and a few weeks later went on their first date. Mark and Krystin’s relationship unfolded and they found themselves in Mexico when Mark got down on one knee and asked Krystin to marry him, vowing they would bring their kids back there one day to that spot.

Their wedding day in Regina and Lumsden was nothing short of a showstopper. There was the most beautiful spring light on these two as they danced through their fleeting wedding day. It was one of those days where you remember every detail, and hope that each and every image will be a chance for them to relive the day over and over and over again.

Some of my favourite special touches of the day were the Bride’s beautiful details, the plaid touches, Krystin’s Dad playing the bagpipes into the reception, strawberry shortcake dessert and a highland dance performed for the couple by the Bride’s dance students. All these details came together to celebrate these two but maybe, just maybe it was the way they looked each other with such admiration that was my favourite of all. Whatever it was, their day was simply perfect!
