When I heard Ken and Whitley were engaged this winter, I think I literally shouted out loud with joy.  After knowing these two for a few years, it was wonderful to hear they were planning to be married.  I found out during their engagement session they plan to have a destination wedding in May and I couldn’t be more excited for them.

I have to talk about the special ring Ken proposed to Whitley with.  It’s so unique with black metal and diamond detailed design, I was so drawn to it.  Against the plaid blanket we used to keep them warm during their session, it proved to be a striking symbol of their true love.

Winter engagement sessions have become a bit of a trend with me this season; when we added in the beautiful sunset, it gave the most gorgeous unique light to this cool session.  Even though it the couple were chilled during their engagement session, we came out with some really great images with extra cuddling.  I was thrilled these two choose me to capture the beginning to their new lives together, before they become husband and wife.  Congratulations Whitley & Ken!
