Intimate Backyard Saskatchewan Wedding in Kipling and Kenosee Lake

This intimate backyard wedding proves how beautiful and meaningful a small wedding can be!

With only 30 guests, Ty and Shelby were able to truly experience and cherish their day, forgoing the frenzy that comes hand-in-hand with a large scale event. The day was just as meaningful, if not more, as they were able to celebrate with their very closest friends and family.

Thoughts on having a small intimate wedding due to covid restrictions:

I actually really enjoyed it, as it made the day more relaxing as you didn’t have to entertain 100+ guests. We were able to make the day more meaningful by having it in a location where we wouldn’t have been able to if the guest size was larger.

What was the biggest change you were faced with as a result of covid restrictions and your wedding?

The biggest challenge was not knowing what the restrictions would be by the time the wedding day came. So there was lots of changes leading right up to the wedding day.

What would you say to Brides who are faced with the decision to postpone or have a smaller intimate wedding?

A smaller wedding, does not mean you have to miss out on things a larger wedding has. Make the day what you want, but remember at the end of the day it is about you and your husband.
