Elegant Regina Winter Wedding

A chilly November day made for a romantic and cozy feel as Taylor and Ashley celebrated their love during their winter wedding day in Regina Saskatchewan.

I first met Taylor when he was a Groomsman at Dustin & Paige’s Saskatoon wedding in 2019.  We heard the story about the stars aligning that one June evening 5 years ago at Bobby’s Place when Taylor and Ashley met for the very first time.  The rest is history as they say and I hope you enjoy this look at their elegant wedding day celebration.

The day began with a ceremony at Resurrection Roman Catholic Parish and ended with a cozy reception at Turvey Centre. In between, Taylor and Ashely cuddled up for some seriously stunning newlywed photos at Wascana Park and the Local Market YQR. The Bridal Party celebrated braving the cold after portraits at the Warehouse Brewing Company…what an amazing way to slow down during a busy day and celebrate with those closest to them. 

The Turvey Centre glowed throughout the evening, with the most personal gold and emerald touches throughout the venue which Ashley curated with care. Game of Thrones theme song played as they entered their reception, for the famous Starks were entering the building!!!  Ashley was presented with her name new as Ashley Stark the III, for she was the third member of her new family to bear the name.

These two are big friends and family people and you can tell it meant the world to them to celebrate and bring so many of them together for the BEST DAY EVER!!! I loved capturing this reception, as it was sort of a celebration for me as well, ending my 19th wedding of the year with these two.  I was so honoured to close my 2022 season with this amazing couple and celebrate with them as they start off their life as husband and wife! CONGRATULATIONS!

Details were sprinkled throughout their day in memory of the couples sweet dog Marner.
