I'm here to tell your story...the joy, the laughs, the tears, and the memories along the way.
I met Calgary couple, Cory and Kelsey, during their fall engagement session. They are getting married in July 2015 at the chalet in Kenosee Lake, and I am so thrilled to have them as a SMP Couple.
These two warmed up quickly during their session and were all cuddly for the camera. It was so easy to photograph them together, they are such a comfortable fun couple. We started off the session in front of an old house on Cory’s parents property. It had a rustic grey door which the couple took their first shots in front of. I can’t help but imagine the people from the past who would have used that door and now it signifies a new opening in Cory & Kelsey’s lives.
We proceeded to a sunlit spot up the road where the golden leaves glistened. At one point, a neighbour in his old grain truck stopped on the road to see what we were up to. Turned out Cory knew who the gentleman was, in typical small town Saskatchewan fashion. We visited a few more spots nearby and ended the session with with the couple seated on a picnic blanket in the field along the road.
I look back at these photos and notice the spark in their eyes when they look at each other. When it’s time for their wedding, I will be happy to capture that spark then as well!
