Children’s Styled Camping Birthday Session

I first met Mitch, Kimberley and their son Huckson at Winter Mini Sessions held in November.  When Kim contacted me to book this fun session for Huckson, she told me all about the details she wanted to incorporate in his camp styled one-year-old session.  Kim made all the felt details which included a mountain & cloud banner and mountain & moose pillow.  She also brought along a vintage lantern, Hudson Bay blanket and axe.  We set up the scene with a campfire vignette complete with firewood, chalkboard signs (I used this book to help me with the chalk lettering) and set up the other props using apple boxes from my stache.

Huckson was a treat to photograph, how about this big boy’s baby blue eyes and the cutest outfit with a buffalo plaid O-N-E t-shirt his Mom found online.  I had fun watching Huckson play, capturing him walking with Mom & Dad and blowing seeded dandelions, what a great evening we had in the beautiful Bow Valley.  What an amazing way to celebrate Huckson’s first birthday, sending birthday wishes to this sweet boy!
