I love the smell of the lumberyard in the morning!  This is where I spend three days a week working alongside my husband Cory as the controller of Oxbow Building Supplies.  For years we’ve owned our own construction company together and in 2011 we purchased the store which we operate in Oxbow, Saskatchewan.  We’re going into our fourth year of owning this lumberyard, hardware, building centre…a truly rewarding endeavour.  The past three years have been a huge learning curve in an industry we learned on our own, we’ve been encouraged by tremendous growth and have shared this experience with our wonderful staff.

We were approached by Fine Lifestyles Magazine – Estevan/Weyburn edition, not only to submit an article, but to be on the cover as well (the issue will be available in July).  It was a pleasure to coincide my photography talents with the store to bring images to the article.

I’m very proud of my husband Cory for his success and his willingness to make the best of any situation after all we’ve worked through in our business lives, especially these past three intense years.  He’s one of the most optimistic, enthusiastic, hard working individuals you’ll ever meet!
