Summer Wedding in Carlyle Saskatchewan

Brett + Sam’s wedding was one for the books. From the hazy summer skies over Carlyle to the last song on the dance floor at Prairie Place, their day was filled with unforgettable moments that felt like pure magic.

Their ceremony took place on a family member’s acreage…the perfect prairie backdrop to say “I do.” But these two? They brought their own flavour to the day. Dinosaur fans through and through…Brett wore a dino-inspired ring and watched Sam walked down the aisle to the Jurrasic Park theme song. Iconic.

Sam looked incredible in her Mikaella Paloma Blanca gown and watching the way Brett looked at her all day long? Melt. My. Heart. It’s clear these two have that ride-or-die kind of love.

They invited me into their story fully… from sneaky kisses under the veil to tearing it up on the dance floor. Speaking of, they kicked off the party by gathering ALL their guests for a giant group photo on the dance floor, thanks to Rhinos DJ… and then kept everyone dancing. The wedding dance floor energy was incredible.

Their first dance was a choreographed number they practiced in their living room just two weeks prior. And in a heartfelt tribute, Sam dedicated her bouquet to her mom, followed by a mother-daughter dance that turned into a full-on crowd moment, inviting everyone there with their own moms or daughters to join.

We capped the night with homemade strawberry cheesecake as their first dessert together… a sweet ending to a perfect day. And honestly? With the Spicy Men groomsmen crew (yes, chili pepper socks included), the joy and laughter was unmatched.
