I'm here to tell your story...the joy, the laughs, the tears, and the memories along the way.
Nathan and Alanna’s wedding day at the Old Stone Inn in Estevan was pure magic…a Friday celebration overflowing with tenderness, intentionality and joy that lingered long after the last glass of champagne was poured.
The morning began quietly in the charming Airbnb space below the Old Stone Inn, where the Bride and her girls were treated to a breakfast by local chef Laurie Wall. Hair, makeup and laughter flowed gently through the rooms while love quietly built beneath the surface.
After a heartfelt ceremony, the couple invited their guests to a reception that was more than a meal…it was an experience. Every plate was thoughtfully crafted to reflect the couple’s appreciation for slow moments and great food.
The menu included:
Appetizers
• Seasonal salad with micro greens, garden crudités, fresh-picked florals, and seed cracker crumble
Main Course
• Braised beef short ribs with a red wine demi-glaze, caramelized onion crushed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables
• Or chicken breast stuffed with spinach and cheese, topped with sun-dried tomato cream sauce, pesto crushed potatoes, and vegetables
Dessert
• Passion fruit + raspberry mini naked cakes
• Vanilla cake with roasted strawberry compote
• Chocolate-dipped lemon Madeleines, maple shortbread, and lemon lavender shortbread
Every bite, every glance, every hug…it all felt unrushed, deeply personal and steeped in love. Friends and family raved about the experience, and even I felt completely taken care of, especially when the couple sent me on my way with the kindest thank-you gift as I packed up for the evening.
From fresh florals arranged by loved ones to dog treats made for their pups, Nathan and Alanna poured love into every inch of their day. And it showed. This wedding will stay with me…quietly, beautifully…for a long time.
