Fairytale Wedding at Delta Hotel Regina

We met at their engagement session a year ago, Travis and Simone travelled to the Bride’s hometown of Carlyle Saskatchewan where I had the pleasure of getting to know these two as a couple.  The session began at Kenosee Lake and we finished at the Bride’s family business…the Prairie Dog Drive Inn.  They talked about life, how they met, and what they enjoy. As they chatted, they would tease one another with the sweetest of smiles and kindest of eyes. Travis clearly adored Simone and the feeling was mutual.

Their wedding day took place in Regina, where the couple reside. It was the most magical day which resembled a fairytale.  Their wedding day was a day that seemed to fly on by no matter how hard we clung to those special moments. We were all excited, it was the perfect sunny weather, a smooth morning of preparation and time to spend together before their ceremony. Simone’s Mother laced up her stunning gown. You’d never know the original gown was strapless, and transformed by the talented Dean Renwick Designs…Simone was breathtaking. 

Their first look took place at the Delta Hotel, where the couple’s adorable pups (Juno and Cooper) met them for portraits.  Surrounded by family and friends, these two walked down the gorgeous aisle of The Queensbury Convention Centre, where the Bride’s childhood friend Chantal married them and they promised to spend life together forever.

With a wedding party of their closest people, we strolled the streets of Regina and laughed along the way. The Delta Hotel served as the perfect, elegant backdrop for all of the wedding reception festivities.  Following a fun cocktail hour and a divine dinner, the party got started on the dance floor. All of the first dances shared that evening were beautiful, but the most memorable was a special Mother and Daughter dance.  There wasn’t a dry eye in the venue as these two danced together in the moment, what a truly special bond they have.

Looking around the room I saw so much love, admiration, and support for Travis and Simone. These two are destined for so many great things…together.
