Elegant Prairie Wedding outside Regina at Sherwood Forest
For their elegant prairie wedding, Connor & Kristen created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, taking guests just 15 minutes out of Regina, at the Red Barn of Sherwood Forest Golf & Country Club.
We began the morning documenting details of the day in the city. Flatlays were styled on a lovely moss coloured background and included the Bride’s gold sandals, a gorgeous invitation suite and jewelry including a special ring of the Bride’s late Aunt.
Kristen was dressed in a stunning Laudae gown from Sweet Pea & Noelle, and the hair & makeup team, Melissa Mayer & Sara Lindsay, created the perfect bridal look for this modern bride. Connor was outfitted at Venice Tailors, wearing a crisp white shirt and contrasting black suit and tie.
Guests watched this couple say I DO from atop a hill overlooking the prairie landscape. The intimate and romantic ceremony was overshadowed by a celebration across the valley, everyone had a chuckle about the distant music played and it sure made for a unique memory of this joyful moment.
After portraits at Condie Nature Refuge, the Bridal Party and new Mr. & Mrs. returned to the Red Barn for the celebration. Toasts were followed by dances and the atmosphere was what great summer celebrations are made of. Le Macaron created a delicious cake and dreamy cupcakes for guests to enjoy throughout the evening.
It’s always my goal to create images that make the couple look back and feel something. I like to capture the celebration with an honest approach, always striving for authenticity, and seeking out moments that will be cherished forever. I feel honoured to be the one to capture Connor & Kristen’s wedding, enjoy this look at their wonderful day!
