I'm here to tell your story...the joy, the laughs, the tears, and the memories along the way.
On a very hot summer day (+43 degrees Celcius to be exact), a woman from the Netherlands and a man from Saskatchewan became husband and wife.
CJ and Desiree met in highschool and have been together for several years. They call each other best friends and I was honoured when CJ’s sister and my photographer friend, Christan Barker, put us in touch to capture their love story.
They were engaged at Taylor Field Football Stadium, Des said yes and confirmed it during a CTV news interview after the Roughrider game. These two have created a home together and welcomed the most adorable daughter Zoey in the past couple years.
Their casual summer wedding featured lush colourful floral bouquets and wooden table decorations made by the creative Bride (Des has her own wood sign business: Zoey & Des). All the details complimented their summer prairie wedding and even though we had to make a few last minute changes due to the heat of the day, it all turned out perfect. CJ & Des exchanged vows, rings and celebrated their love with their closest friends and family. Thank you for having me capture your special day – xoxo – Starr
