Dean + Kaelyn | Southeast Saskatchewan Wedding

A Farm Wedding with touches of Burnt Orange and Cornflower Blue

A Farm Wedding with touches of Burnt Orange and Cornflower Blue

From the second that we arrived at the Barrett farm, I just knew the day was going to be amazing. The Bride’s Mom Cheryl greeted me with a big warm hug and we started capturing this beautiful farm wedding.

The day was so relaxed and incredibly gorgeous. Dean and Kaelyn, so sweet, caring and incredibly loyal. Love for these two began at work and good thing too, because all roads led them here!

Dean and Kaelyn decided to do a first look before their ceremony.  With looming storm clouds as our backdrop, the two saw each other for the first time and it was perfect.  We proceeded with Bride and Groom portraits and got caught in a 15 minute downpour, stuck in our vehicles, on a location overlooking the Pipestone valley.  When the rain stopped, we all realized the dirt road we drove in on had turned to mud and boy did we have an adventure trying to drive out.  Luckily we made it in time for the ceremony where the couple said I DO using their nicknames instead of their real names and the rest of the day went on as planned.

It was so much fun to be a part of Dean and Kaelyn’s wedding. What an honour it was to capture days like this!

Starr you did an amazing job – as usual! Thanks so much for sharing the day with our families! We can hardly wait to see the entire collection of photographs. It is going to be so very hard to pick just a few special ones for the mantel!
